Coaching Service Agreement

Your enrollment

This agreement covers personal fitness coaching provided by Jonathan Beckner under the Sound + Stone name to adults aged 18 and older. Coaching may be digital, in person, or a combination, as agreed. Your completed enrollment copy identifies your chosen service, signing date, service start date, payment dates, and cancellation deadline. Keep the signed copy provided to you. Do not sign a copy with incomplete enrollment fields.

Seven business day cancellation right

You have seven business days after signing to cancel this agreement. Your completed enrollment copy states the specific deadline date. Mail written notice to Jonathan Beckner / Sound + Stone, PO Box 187, Avondale Estates, GA 30002, postmarked by midnight of that date. We also accept written cancellation by email to info@ofsoundandstone.com by midnight Eastern on that date. Email is an additional convenient option and does not limit statutory cancellation methods. Contact us to arrange hand delivery to an official; do not attempt hand delivery to the PO Box. We will provide written acknowledgment of receipt. Include copies of the contract and any evidence of enrollment supplied to you; no physical membership card is issued.

For this initial cancellation right, Sound + Stone provides a full refund of payments under the canceled agreement, including onboarding charges. This policy is more generous than deducting services already provided. A completed copy must list your signing date and exact seventh-business-day deadline before acceptance. The separate seven-calendar-day request for renewal notice below does not shorten this right.

Services and prices

Starting Point is $250 once. It includes intake and readiness review, a 75-minute starting session, a four-week individual plan, and one follow-up adjustment within those four weeks. It does not renew. The four-week service period begins on the start date stated in your completed enrollment copy.

Personal Coaching is $550 for the first month when starting directly: $200 one-time onboarding plus $350 monthly coaching. It then renews monthly at $350 until canceled. It includes intake and a 75-minute starting session, individual programming and adjustments, a personal weekly video or voice briefing, review of submitted results and weekly feedback, a monthly review conversation, and two brief scheduled check-ins per week during the first four weeks. Clients continuing after Starting Point pay $350 per month without another onboarding fee. A three-month horizon is recommended, not a minimum payment commitment.

Live Coaching is $125 for one 60-minute session, booked separately or added to coaching. Four live sessions plus ongoing coaching are $850 for the agreed monthly service period; eight plus coaching are $1,350. Direct starters add the $200 onboarding fee once. Any bundled session dates, use period, and unused-session treatment must be specified in your completed enrollment copy before purchase. No add-on is selected automatically.

The checkout and completed enrollment copy state the actual selected price, applicable taxes if any, renewal schedule, and total charges. You authorize only the recurring charges explicitly selected and accepted. Travel, facility, and equipment costs require advance agreement; unselected options do not apply. Price increases require advance notice and agreement before the affected service period.

Working rhythm and availability

Routine communication is by email to info@ofsoundandstone.com, usually answered within two business days. Longer conversations are scheduled. For ongoing coaching, client reviews are completed by Thursday, responses are due Friday at 6pm Eastern, and the next week is prepared over the weekend. Late responses may delay adjustments; let us know when your schedule changes. Daily logging does not include daily coach replies.

Appointments normally start at 11am or later, Monday through Friday. Monday through Thursday, the latest start is 6pm; Friday sessions finish by 3pm. Earlier appointments require a separate conversation. Booking availability, format, location, and duration are confirmed in advance. These hours are not emergency monitoring hours.

Renewals and ordinary cancellation

Please email cancellation at least seven calendar days before your next renewal so we can plan programming and capacity. This is a planning request: a cancellation received before the next charge stops that renewal even if fewer than seven days remain. No cancellation call is required. We confirm the final service date and stop future billing. A cancellation received after a renewal normally ends service at the end of that paid period, subject to the initial cancellation right and other rights below.

Outside the initial cancellation period or other protected circumstances, a paid coaching month remains available through its scheduled end and is generally not prorated if you stop early. Missed workouts or unused included check-ins do not create a refund. Starting Point canceled before work begins is refunded fully; once work begins, a refund reflects the undelivered portion, subject to applicable law. If we end coaching or cannot deliver a material part of the service, we refund the undelivered portion. Medical pauses or credits are agreed in writing with billing and return dates.

Additional cancellation protections

You may cancel within 30 days of when you knew or should have known of a substantial change in the services or programs available when you enrolled, and receive a refund for the unused remainder. This includes any applicable change between coeducational and single-sex access.

If you become totally and permanently disabled during a service term, you may cancel the agreement. If you die during a term or renewal, your estate may cancel it. Reasonable documentation may be requested. Sound + Stone charges no additional cancellation fee for these circumstances and refunds the unused portion.

No further payments are due if the facility where the contract is entered into ceases operation and fails to offer a substantially similar alternate location within ten miles. If Sound + Stone ceases providing your digital or hybrid service, future charges stop and the undelivered portion is refunded. All rights and refunds required by applicable law take priority over this agreement.

Readiness and participation

If you have a history of heart disease, consult a physician before entering this personal-training agreement. Complete the official PAR-Q+ and follow its indicated guidance before training. Disclose relevant restrictions and changes, use appropriate equipment and a safe environment, and ask when instructions are unclear. You may decline, modify, or stop an exercise. Coaching is not medical diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, psychotherapy, or emergency monitoring. Contact local emergency services for emergencies. No particular performance or health outcome is guaranteed.

Privacy and consent

The privacy notice explains intake, records, scheduling, payment, and optional media use. Participation requires the separate waiver before physical training. Recording sessions, public testimonials, marketing images, or submitting identifiable client records to generative AI requires separate informed permission. Optional permissions are not a condition of receiving coaching.

Changes and complete agreement

The completed enrollment copy and these terms describe the agreed service. Changes to service, fees, or renewal obligations are confirmed in writing. Nothing limits nonwaivable consumer rights. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions apply only as permitted by law.

NOTICE
State law requires that we inform you that should you choose to pay for any part of this agreement in advance, you are paying for future services and may be risking loss of your money if this personal-training business ceases to conduct business. Health spas do not post a bond, and no other protections may be provided to you should you choose to pay in advance.
